Can you match my wedding flowers to my Pinterest page or inspiration photos?
My clients and I use social media images for inspiration and education. Exact copies? No way! Similar vibe, colors, size, theme? You bet!
When it comes to flowers, I cannot control Mother Nature or the supply chain, but I am committed to best-in-bloom. Example: you share several inspiration photos for a fall wedding and one of them includes rustic-colored Sunflowers. The week of your wedding, the weather dips under 40 degrees at night and Sunflowers start dropping petals, so I will not risk using them. Wholesale Sunflowers are garish gold with sad petals and droopy heads. I will substitute Rudbeckia in a variety of lovely fall colors; a near match, loves cold weather, has straight strong stems with happy faces, and will perform beautifully. Odds are you will be delighted with the bouquet and not know the difference. But there’s always one in every crowd, so IF you MUST have an EXACT flower variety, I am not the florist for you.
How do you match my color palette?
I study color theory. Wedding flowers need light, dark, and neutral options no matter the color palette. Keeping an eye on contrast and how flowers will live forever in your photographs is key. And I love to use flowers that pull together and transition colors like dahlias, roses, peonies, tulips, daffodils, zinnias, and snapdragons.
Can I trust you?
Ask anyone who knows me well and they’ll tell you “YES, ABSOLUTELY!” My business is an extension of me, and I am a person of integrity. I will only partner and work with other people of integrity.
1. I’m motivated to grow and design unique flowers to elevate and set apart every wedding!
2. I like to keep the wedding flower process clean and simple: no unnecessary meetings or demands on your time, no drama. I will deliver as promised and work hard to exceed your expectations.
3. Client confidentiality is paramount.
4. You will be treated well and in a timely fashion with clear, open communication, and respect.
What else do I need to know?
Comparison is the thief of joy! I encourage couples to plan, stick to their budget, and trust their vendors. Allow yourself to be surprised a bit and give your vendors some leeway! Our reputation is on the line and we’re going to give you our best if you allow us room to level-up your day. Clients who allow me to source the best blooms and use my creativity always get better designs and are thrilled by the result.
